Boddhi Satva makes Vega debut

Louie Vega protege Boddhi Satva will celebrate the worldwide release of his debut album next month,Satva hailing from the central African Republic,made his first musical moves during the late 1990's with local Hip-Hop unit Gbekpa crew.But it wasn't until 2005 and a couple of hook-ups with Detroits Alton miller that his artistic direction firmly pointed towards house.Remixe's and releases for Yellow,Yoruba'Yellowrange'Abicah Soul and 157shelter followed and the development of a unqiue 'Ancestral Soul' sound mixing house with Urban R&B intense Afro-rhythms,spiritual vocals and world music instruments.Satva launched his own label Offering Records in 2007 and came to Vega's attention the following year.He was soon contributing material to Vega's eponymous label. And supporting its various international tour commitments as resident DJ.Satva's rise is widely associated with the rise of African house music within the international club scene.Invocation was released to Africa on Vega Records last year and now gains a worldwide release on BBE.The long-player cover's everything Deep house to edgy ragga via heavy tribal workouts,Afro-Jams and smooth nu-Soul grooves ,Vega takes an executive Producer role»An April release date is as yet unconfirmed
